PRACTIONER

STEPHANIE MULINOS

After a 35-year career in the corporate world, I was given the opportunity to follow a different path – one that allowed me to find my inner truth through work that fills me rather than depletes me. My life and my path have not always been smooth and often not easy. I came to meditation and mindfulness out of curiosity and as a way to manage anxiety. I had a deep need to find a path of balance and ease.

Through the generosity of friends, teachers, and strangers I discovered a way of being that I never thought could exist. One rooted in mindfulness, self-compassion, and open-heartedness. I have discovered a more balanced way of living. I have found a balanced path.

I have a deep passion for sharing the healing power of mindfulness with others – through movement, meditation, coaching, and education; and for bringing it to where people are living their lives – at work, at home, and in the community.

I am on a journey – one with no destination and that can only be traveled in community with others.

A little more about me…I have lived in the Finger Lakes region of New York since 1982. I have a BS and an MBA. I have worked in a variety of industries – government, higher education, banking, and agriculture. I have 3 spectacular grown children who make me proud each and every day. I keep myself grounded through meditation, yoga, gardening, loving my dogs, running, and triathlon.

My PILLARS OF PRACTICE

Establishing expectations is important. I have five key pillars to how I practice mindfulness and interact with others. I hope these pillars resonate with you and make you feel seen and understood.

AUTHENTICITY

Be yourself. Don’t worry if you don’t think you know what you’re talking about. The best connections and ideas come from few words.

HONESTY

Let’s just be upfront. We both want you to see results in your life, lets be honest about what’s really going on and how you feel about it, no judgement, ever.

COMPASSION

Show kindness to others, but especially yourself. Learning to change the way we speak to ourselves is hard, we can figure it out together.

MISTAKES

Making a mistake is one of the biggest and best learning opportunities we can have in life. It’s a gift to learn from our previous steps. Let’s learn to reframe our mistakes.

HUMOR

Even the worst things have humor inside. Laugh at yourself, laugh at it all.

This is how we learn, how we grow, how we find ourselves.

“..embrace curiosity as you take your next step into your future. I cannot tell you what lies ahead, but I can tell you this: As long as you are breathing, there is more to your story”
